The most titled club in the world with 5 first places in the exclusive DJ MAG Top 100 Clubs, the symbol of La Isla for millions of clubbers from all over the world continues its history in Riccione.
When Pepe Rosello decided in 1989 to open a superclub in Playa d’En Bossa in southern Ibiza, near the airport, no one believed in his plan, now we all know how that story turned out.
Twenty-seven years of culture ending in 2017, Space’s last season, to start again in 2024. Where: Riccione.
That’s right: Rosello chose Riccione for the new adventure. “We are happy,” says Rosello himself, “to continue the 27-year history of Space Ibiza in Riccione, an iconic place that represents entertainment. The love of music and mutual respect, that is, the main characteristics of our events, will also be protagonists in this new experience, on which we all believe a lot.”
The new Space will be designed by architect Marco Lucchi on the area currently occupied by the disco Musica (the former Prince). The project includes the creation of a new-generation club, distributed over four large areas: arena, garden, terrace and lounge. Not to be missed in the new facility it will be possible to read a book and observe author exhibitions.
Music, entertainment and art nowadays increasingly go hand in hand with a sustainable worldview, so much so that special attention will be paid to energy compatibility and environmental sustainability solutions in the design. It will be a place for relationships, including digital ones. “Space Riccione will represent a great opportunity for the entire international clubbing industry,” assures Fabrizio Tamburini, the president of ECulture, “It is no coincidence that the launch campaign will be marked precisely by the Renaissance, underlining the breath of fresh air that this project will bring both to the entertainment sector and to the tourism sector of Riccione and the entire Riviera.
Will Italy return to its splendor?
