As every year, DJ Mag has released the ranking of the world’s top 100 festivals.
Before we take a look at it, we remind you that the ranking is based on a public vote, so it has been voted by the magazine’s readers and there are no objective evaluation criteria. That said, let’s see how it went!
Taking the No. 1 spot in the DJ Mag Top 100 Festivals poll for the third consecutive year, even this year the best festival award has been won by Tomorrowland. Attracting top DJs and worldwide music fans, Tomorrowland is undoubtedly the most iconic and famous electronic music festival.
EDC Las Vegas took the position No. 2, climbing two positions and confirming its status as the best American festival.
The first surprise is at position No. 3, occupied by Untold Festival. Nine years after its first edition in 2015, the Romanian festival has reached the third place on the podium, surpassing giants like Ultra and Coachella.
Just off the podium is the Ultra Music Festival (2023 No. 2), followed by Creamfields and Glastonbury (2023 No. 3).
In 7th position, we find another surprise: Kappa FuturFestival, which has entered the top ten after placing eleventh last year.
Closing the top 10 there are Exit Festival (8th), World Club Dome (9th), and, surprisingly at No. 10, Coachella, which has dropped five positions compared to last year.
The following 10 positions have been taken by Sunburn Festival (11th), AMF (12th), Parookaville (13th), Defqon1 (14th), Parklife Festival (15th), Time Warp (16th), Sónar (17th), Sziget (18th), Awakenings (19th), and Primavera Festival (20th).
