After last year’s first edition, Panorama Festival becomes itinerant, with five dates distributed in three locations between Itria Valley and Salento: the Bylla Arena in Monopoli, the Salento Arena in Santa Cesarea Terme (the Guendalina Club concert area) and the Macrame in Monopoli.
This year’s festival carries the slogan ‘August Around Apulia‘ and offers a unique experience combining the magic of music with the unspoilt beauty of the surrounding area.
Saturday 12 August (from 11 pm), Monopoli Bylla Arena in Capitolo (Bari): Solomun.
Panorama Festival kicks off as best it could, with Solomun‘s only Italian summer date in Southern Italy this year. His set takes place in the brand new, hyper-technological Monopoli Bylla Arena a stone’s throw from the sea. Monopoli has so much to offer: the paradisiacal beaches of Cala Porto, Cala Monaci and Cala Paradiso, with their crystal-clear waters and hidden coves, not to mention its historic centre with its picturesque streets, historic churches and the imposing Castle of Carlo V dominating the harbour.
Sunday 13 August (from 10 pm), Salento Arena in Santa Cesarea Terme (Lecce): The Martinez Brothers presents Cuttin’ Headz.
Cuttin’ Headz is the record label of The Martinez Brothers and means 100% New York electronic music, capable of discovering the most underground house and the most ancestral techno: its parties only take place in a few specific locations such as Ibiza, New York and precisely Salento. In the Guendalina Club concert area, the Martinez will play b2b with Marco Carola, along with Seth Troxler, Ale De Tuglie and Matisa. On this occasion, the musical energy of Cuttin’ Headz will merge with the beauty of the area, with its natural pools of Marina Serra, the cliffs of Castro Marina, and the enchanting landscapes of Santa Cesarea Terme. An excellent opportunity also to enjoy the culinary delights of Apulia, its specialities and its most traditional dishes.
Monday 14 August (from 10 pm), Salento Arena in Santa Cesarea Terme (Lecce): Peggy Gou presents Gou Talk.
In an absolute preview for Italy, Peggy Gou returns to Panorama Festival with her Gou Talk party together with Hunee, Mumdance and FKA.M4A. Few artists are in fact having such a global impact on music as the Korean Peggy Gou: among the many gems of her artistic journey is the 2019 Dj Kicks! compilation, the series reserved only for the best DJs on the planet. A proof of class and strength at the same time, a selection that spans time and space. As a daytime excursion to accompany it, nothing better than exploring the Bauxite quarry in Otranto, known for its turquoise waters set among jagged red rocks. Something truly unique.
Tuesday 15 August (from 4 pm), Macramé in Monopoli (Bari): The Blessed Madonna.
Panorama Festival returns to Monopoli at Macramé, with The Blessed Madonna taking centre stage more than ever. In recent years, few artists have been as pivotal as The Blessed Madonna: just think of her remixes for The Chemical Brothers, Florence & The Machine and even Elton John, her collaborative album with Dua Lipa: her music is a symbol and synonym of inclusion, brotherhood, union. With Panorama Festival you will be able to enjoy a unique environment, with the availability of reserved areas, premium bars, chill and relaxation zones, and a food area dedicated to the best Apulian culinary proposals. A unique context and content, united and combined to perfection.
Wednesday 16 August (from 4 p.m.), Monopoli Bylla Arena in Capitolo (Bari): Mochakk, Honey Dijon, Carlita, Seth Troxler, William Djoko and many others. Grand finale for Panorama Festival with a music marathon with an intensely Ibizan flavour.
In the last of the five Panorama Festival events, it will be possible to enjoy the sounds and rhythms of many top DJs in a fairytale setting, with the best views offered by the Adriatic coastline.
A line up with the best top DJs, the organisation linked to Italy’s number one club in DJ Mag magazine’s Top 100 Clubs, breathtaking scenery and settings, delicious cuisine, warm hospitality and a great, great party atmosphere: elements that are very difficult to find in a single context, elements that contribute to making Panorama Festival something unique.
